The Hotel

"La Villa de Santiago de la Nazca was founded by the Principal Chief of the valley, Don Garcia de Lanasca in time of Viceroy Don Luis de Velasco (1596-1606), dividing the land among the Spanish who settled in the region.

Majoro words derived from Quechua MA = place, and qoro = bush, which means, instead of bushes.

The Hotel

Cantayo Hotel is located three kilometers from the city of Nazca in the road that goes to Cusco and close to the Cantalloc geoglyphs. These geoglyphs indicate from which the groundwater that feeds the pre-Columbian aqueducts that surround the perimeter of the hotel.

The geoglyphs Cantalloc, pre-Columbian aqueducts, the highest dune of South America (Cerro Blanco), or the Nazca ceremonial center Cahuachi are just some of the enigmatic tourist attractions are only few minutes from Hotel Cantayo. Even less than an hour by car can make beautiful trips in the Pacific coast.

Location

Located three blocks from the Plaza de Armas in the city of Nasca - Ica, a city located to 587 meters above sea level and has a warm and dry throughout the year.
Our Hotel is located in a quiet central area which allows our visitors a quick three block access to major attractions, parade, so we're close to major restaurants, souvenir shops and cultural centers our city.
