Hotel Ruinas is located just two blocks from the main square of Cusco, in the historic and monumental city, capital of the Inca empire "navel of the world."
Walking can be reached at:
- The Plaza de Armas, where you can admire the Cathedral and the Church of the Society of Jesus;
- Inca Temple of the Sun, the Koricancha;
- San Francisco square and the church of Santa Clara;
- The traditional neighborhood of San Blas (one block), the cradle of artisans.
- A longer walk or drive are:
- The Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, 40 minute climb on foot, and 15 minutes by car, too: Qenko, Puca Pucara, Tambo Machay.
